World Book Day ….and more hard work!
We had a great Reading Week last week and it was all capped by a fantastic World Book Day. Thanks to all parents who helped their children appear in school in their character costumes. See picture below.
Later that day, our Bedtime Stories activity was a lovely affair where children heard 4 different stories in the space of an hour. They had hot chocolate (thanks PTA!) and enjoyed very different stories in different locations. The Bell tent was a particular favourite!
Thanks to the family Miell who came in at the weekend to put up some more posts for the shelter in our Sensory Garden. On Saturday 11th March we will be working again to bring this marvellous development to life. We will be particularly focussed upon laying the kerb stones, but even if you don’t know much about that skill, there will be plenty for you to do!
